Create a Configurable Product

Before creating a Configurable Product, it is recommended to have completed the steps mentioned for the Simple Product and the following steps:
- Add new Attributes with the variations of the product.
To add a new Configurable Product:
- Navigate to Taxonomy > Products in the main menu.
- Click Create.
Follow the same steps of a Simple Products.
- In the Variants section
Select the attribute name from the list with the label Configurable Attributes
The set of possible attributes is derived from all 'List' type attributes that have been added in the corresponding section. You can choose as many attributes as you like, and all possible combinations of them will be displayed in the list below.
It is possible to edit every combination of attributes by clicking on the Edit Icon in the actions column: - Enter a Price for the new variant.
- Enter a Quantity for the new variant.
- update the Picture.
- by clicking on the + it is possible to add an external SKU for a specific variant.

Price and Quantity of the variant will apply to the "Default" Price List. To add more pricing details to the variant, click on the Vertical Ellipsis [ ⋮ ] at the right side of the Price while editing the variant. A Variant pricing table will be displayed. Then you can proceed with the steps described for the Simple Product.
- When all the changes were made, click on the Save button, or on Discard to reject the updates.
